I am on 7th year H1 approval valid until 07/2007, but I have visa stamping valid until 01-May-06. Next month, I am going to Tokyo on a business trip and my attorney advised me to get the stamping done at US Consulate, TOKYO. Is there a risk involved in this process for an Indian citizen? So far, all my stampings are done at Chennai consulate. I appreciate if anyone can share their thoughts or experiences.
