H1B Visa stamping at Mexico

I received a call from my employer that my H1 is approved with out change of status (the reason might be I travelled to India for some family emergency during the process). My employer asked to get it stamped in Mexico. I am planning to take an oppointment at Metamoros during 1st week of October. If any of you faced same situation and went to Mexico for H1 stamping please share your experience.
