I am currently on 7th year of my H1B Visa in USA. I recently received my I-797 approval notice for my 8th year. My 7th year extension petition is valid from 19-Jun-2006 until 18-Jun-2007 and 8th year extension petition is valid from 19-Jun-2007 until 18-Jun-2008.
My visa validation was expired in my passport on 18-Jun-2006. I am planning on going to India next week. When I appear for my visa revalidation interview on Mid may (that is before 19-Jun-2007), will they provide until Jun, 2008 or will they approve only until Jun, 2007.
If anyone could please shed some light, that would be of great help.
