Hi ,
i am vinod here.
my previous h1b expired on feb 2003 but i hold a new h1b visa from a new employer valid through feb 2005 , i sent my passport for stamping/revalidation to the St. Louis INS office on feb 1st and received the passport today , but unfortunately it dint get stamped as my photo was not valid.
i have a question to whoever can help me out, did anyone of you face a situation like i am in ?
do you guys suggest me to goto india and get the passport stamped from chennai US consulate or suggest me to resubmit the passport to the washigton d.c office .
can anyone tell me how long does it take to get the stamping done if i send it to washington d.c or will there be a problem if i try going to india and taking the risk of getting it stamped there.
pls help me out guys with your humble suggestions.
