I am Canadian working under TN status in USA for three years. The company was filing the I-129 for extension each year.
My company has switched me to H1B starting October 2008.
We received I-797C "approval notice" for class H1B.
As far as I understand, a similar I-129 was filed for H1B, and a similar notice of action I-797 was received for approval.
In the past years(while I was on TN), the I-797 approval notice had an I-94 for multiple entry appended to the bottom of the notice (but not this time).
Any feedback on the reason and would I need to get I-94 for this new visa type (H1B) and how?
