H1b Visa extension validation in Chennai

Hi All,

As per the documentation requirements posted on the web site of the Chennai consulate, work photos, landmarks and other types of work related documentation is required for H1B stamping. Does this apply for stamping of H1B extension of a current H1 visa ? Has anybody gone through it via the drop box service aka TTS recently ? Info is much appreciated.

Got extension stamping from Chennai last week

I got my H1 extension stamping from Chennai last week thru TTS. I didn\'t submit any Pictures/photos of work place but I submitted all other documents mentioned like original degree, experience letters etc.

BTW: Check the Passport size photo requirements before going for stamping.

Can you tell me which TTS drop box did you use for the stamping?
Also can you tell me exactly what documents did you give? Did you give the original I-797. Does anyone check the documents that you are giving them?
