H1B visa extension - doing on my own

Hi,
my H1B is up for renewal on Febr 22, 2008 (and I am still with the same employer) so I figured I need to file around end of September for extension. Do I still need to pay the $1,500 fee (ER has more than 25 employees) or just the $190 fee? I think the fraud fee is not required this time.

Also does anyone know if all the original documents need to be refiled again or just changes in position ( I was promoted), new salary, etc.
ANyone done this on their own, I would appreciate your advice

Please refer to new fees structure from July 31st onwards. Looks like you will have to shell a lot more than what you are thinking.

Thanks. It seems that at least they only raised the $190 to 320. I was afraid the $1,500 fee will be raised again. Do you know if there are any additional documents the employer needs to provide if I was promoted to a senior position since the initial H1B application - I am guessing just the new job description and new salary...
