H1B Visa expired 2 years back....Can I go to Mexico/Canada???

Hi Gurus-
My H1B visa on my passport was expired 2 years back. But I have extension approvals with me. Can I go to Mexico or Canada for stamping? My main question is "Is there any restriction like we should go for stamping in other countries (other than home country) if the expired period is less than one year?" Please advise me in this.

No - there is no such restriction.

Your case would have the same risks associated with any other case where stamping is done in a country other than your country of citizenship
