H1B visa denied

I live in US and I applied for h1b for my brother who is in India through a small consulting firm and H1B is approved ..When he applied for stamping @ chennai , consulate denied his visa under some cluase ( I didn't remeber) and they took away his h1B document ..What should I do now .. Please advice

The I-797 will be returned to INS service center which approved your brothers H-1B. You need to find out from your brother the exact reason as to why they denied his stamping and conficicated his I-797.

Chennai consulate is notorious for things like this. They could have suspected his educational qualification, or he didn't have enough experience, or they suspect the company who petitioned for his H1. You should talk to an attorney and see if you have any recourse.

Did you get to know why was the H1 rejected?
My friend is in a similar situation, he is about to go for stamping, but the consulting firm that petitioned for him is a small one.

So looks like now only bigger firm can get h1 ppl i guess.
