I was initially on H4 for about 2yrs untill 2000, and then on J1 for about 3 yrs during my residency.
Currently I am on H1 from feb 04 (J1waiver job).
-I have one question about counting the total 6 years of H1.
Does it also include the time I was on H4?
-If H4 time is counted towards H1 period, means i used up 5 yr by jan 07. And for H1 renewal Is it possible to get 3 yr extension.
-My P.D. is nov 2004 and haven't received any information from Dallas BLC.
My 3 yr J1 waiver obligation ends in jan 07, and I am thinking of moving to a different place after the 3 yr commitment. With the delay in Labor processing, thinking of applying for PERM, then I 140 and look for a new employer and hopefully retain the old PD.
What are your thoughts and any advice.
