H1B - Urgent Please Help

Hi,

I am in H1B and I work for company A for full time now. But my company wants me as a part time employee i.e work in evenings and weekends. They are not worried about me having a second job. My question is can I work for company B as full time or as a consultant and also work in Company A as part time. Please let me know. Again I am in H1B.

You must work full time ( 40 hrs ) if the underlying LCA is for full time for the sponsoring employer. He can give you extra money as overtime. But on H1 you cannot work for two companies at the same time exceeeding 40 hrs.
