H1B Transfer Issue (Urgent visa expiring 1/1/04)

Hi Everyone,

I have my h1b expiring on 1/1/04 with company A. I already applied for my extension but haven't get approval yet. Now my company A transfering all the employees to company B with same employer. The company B is established just before 2 months

Now i have applied for my h1b transfer but i don't have sufficient time.

My question is if i didn't get approval for my transfer to company B before 1/1/04 am i in illegal state?
Company B is just established is this a problem with getting h1b transfer?

Should not be a problem. Most probably you dont need to do another transfer. An amendment to the application is the most required. In many cases this might not be even required.
