H1B transfer

Hi All,
I am in MO,US for the past 3 months . am here from India on H1B through my company A . Now am planning to shift to a local job over here. Can I get my new employer to sponsor the H1B for me? What are the implications?

Your inputs are appreciated. Am totally new to this visa thing.

You need to find someone who is willing to sponsor your H1B. If you find someone who is willing to do so, then you can ask them to transfer your existing H1B. Once they agreed in doing so, and file the transfer, upon which they will receive the notification letter from USCIS, you can start working for them immediately. You don't have to wait for it to get approved.
