Hi,
I was initially working with Company A on a H1B. A few days back I got an offer from Company B, subsequent to which Company B applied for a H1B premium transfer. The application has been acknowledged by the INS along with an emailed receipt providing the EAC #.
However, after getting the receipt I announced the news of having received an offer to Company A, upon which Company A has called me to negotiate on the compensation in order to retain me in the company. I have not informed Company A of the H1B transfer yet. However, in case my old company agrees to hike my compensation and should I decide to continue with my old company, what is needed to be done? Will my H1B with Company A be valid and would I be able to continue with that? Should Company A have to apply for a transfer / fresh H1B ?
