H1B Transfer

[H1Bquestions]

Company B applied for my transfer from Company A after my layoff from Company A. The transfer was approved.

Question:

- How far can I stretch the date of joining Company B from the date of transfer approval?

- Do I have any option, being physically present in the US, not to join the Company B for 2 or 3 months from the date of transfer approval?
