H1B Transfer without recent pay stubs

Hi,

I am working with company A for past one year but I was off the project since May of this year and the last pay stub that I got was in mid of June. Now I got a full time offer from company B and they are all set to file my H1B transfer next week, now my only concern is will there be any issue regarding the pay stubs, although I have submitted my last two paystubs which I got in June. Also in case if I join company B before geting the H1B approved (once I got the reciept number), what can be the issues that can come and what should be the correct step from my side. Please advise.

Thanks,
Rajeev

run pay check atleast for sep and submit that for transfer. It is very likely that they will ask recent pay stub(may be through RFE).you may have to explain why you didnt have it in July-August.also make sure your employer hasnt revoked your H1. with lots of auditing going on employers are unwilling to risk employees on bench.

Thanks a lot for reply !!! Actually I was in India for almost 2 months and since I came back I am on bench !!! so what would be the best bet for me as I can't submit any more pay stubs....

if you want to be safe just ask the current firm to run a small pay roll for this month. your india trip can be replayed as emergency situation so you can escape from that unpaid period.Good luck
