I am an employee of NY based Consulting Company A since September 2008. I have been working at DC based Client B (am still an employee of Consulting Company A) since February 2009.
Client B has offered me a full-time position with at a better pay rate.
To transfer my H1b visa to Client B in the current economy/situation, is it advisable to file a new LCA or file for a simple change of employer without a new LCA. Which one is safer?
My job duties at Client B are exactly the same as those mentioned on the LCA of Consulting Company A. Can I apply for this H1B without an LCA?
