am having H1B issued in the name of Employer-A on April 2005 and is valid upto Oct 2007. Due to lack of projects in US, Employer-A didn't send me to US, and then after i have changed my Employer.Now my wife is going to US on L-1 Visa for 2-3 Years, and she wanted to file dependant visa L-2 for me. Parellelly, i am also trying to get into some job in US 9On H1B) in same location where she will be posted. In this regard, i need clarifications on following issues.
1. How to find out the status of my H1B Visa. Is it valid still or cancelled by my previous employer Employer-A.
2.Is my previous H1B Visa will create any problems/ difficulties for the dependant visa, when my wife is applying for me.
3. What is the possibility/ process/ procedure for changing the Dependant Visa to Work Permit so that i can even work in US.
4. If some employer Employer-B willing to offer a job to me, is the Employer-A has to file a new H1B Pettition for me or just H1B transfer is enough.
5. What is the procedure/ process involved in transferring H1B from one Employer to another Employer.
6. Is the H1B Transfer can be done without being into US.
7. For H1B Transfer, do i need to wait for the quota, or i can apply at any time irrespective of the quota avaialbility.
8. For H1B Transfer, what documents do i/ Employer-B need to submit?
9. Is there a personal interview required with the US Consulate for H1B Transfer.
10. n case, if i get a dependant visa through my wife, can i file another H1B or L-1 Visa. i.e. can i apply for multiple Visas on multiple categories.
