I am currently on my 8th year extension and have my petition valid till July 09. I have got my I140 approved thru my current employer.
I am planning to switch employer since my current employer is not able to find a project for me.
My question is will I be able to do a H1 transfer and get 3year extension based on the approved I-140, even though the I140 is from the previous employer.
If so while filing for H1 transfer will it be enough to just submit a copy of the
I140 approval notice.
