I am currently on my Optional Practical Training till August 2005. My current employer has filed for my H1 and it is approved. The start date for the H1 is 1st May 2005. I have wish to join a different company before May 1st. Can the second company apply for a H1 transfer, my current employer is willing to do a H1 transfer, or does the second company has to file for a fresh H1 petition?
I would appreciate any information regarding the process for H1 transfer.
