H1b Transfer While Amendment in progress.

My company A was acquired by company B and they have filed for an amendment to my h1b petition. I am looking to move to company C and would like to know if I can transfer my h1b based on my existing h1b which is currently being amended. if not, how long would it take for the amendment?

You can use the original H-1B for transfer (A to C) only if you have a recent paystub issued by the company A. How recent? Well that's entirely depends on the lawyer. Typically this should not be more than a month.

Other option is to upgrade the amendment to PP.
