Please help..
I recently got my H1-B transfered to from Company A to B. A and B are competitors. Policy at company A was to walk you out of the door immediately after you hand over 2 week notice stating that you are going to company B. But they pay you for 2 weeks.
I gave my 2 week notice saying that I was going to company B on Monday 12th. They walked me out the same day. Next Monday on 19th, I started working at company B. Later on I received a check from company A for 2 weeks pay that was for week of 12th and 19th.
What does this mean legally. I got payed for week of 19th from 2 employers. Also A and B are competitors so is it a conflict of interest?
