Here is my case history:
I changed my job from current employer A to another company B. Company B told me that as soon as they apply for the transfer I can start working for them and gave me a joining date. Under the assumption that my h1 transfer paper has been sent out, I started working for the company B. Almost after a month I came to know that my H1-transfer is still pending (or forgot to file) and not filed yet to USCIS (while I received my salary also). Realizing their mistake, within few days it was sent to USCIS.
Now I am concerned what will be the consequences of this mistake and how it can be rectified. By the way company A has not yet cancelled my H1.
