Hi All,

Now I'm working in India for company A. They have started processing of H1b for me. Once I get my H1B stamped\approved, and before taking up any onsite assignment of Company A, If I join another company, Can I get my H1B transfered by my future company?
Please Can somebody tell me what the risc factors involved are? or Please point me to right location where I can find the solution.

I have searched on web on this issue, I found below info
You might be asked to submit the following documents:
· One or two latest pay stubs.
· Copy of your existing H1 approval.
· Passport copies.
· Copies of I-94 records.
· Copy of Social Security Card.
· Latest Resume.
· Copy of existing valid visa.
· Copy of all your Diploma/Degrees.

What are "Pay Stubs" here?

Incase I left my current compnay who filed H1b before taking up onsite work, What is the workaround for it?

Thanks and Regards,

Prashanth

H1B- Transfer

First, you need to be able to be in the US, work for the current employer atleast for a few months before you can apply for an H1 transfer. PAY STUBS is nothing but your pay slips that you get in India, that is the proof that you were legally working in the US and paid all the required taxes.

If you really want to go with Company B, why do you even need an H1 transfer, just have company B apply for a fresh H1 and go with them. You can have multiple H1 B pettition applied by multiple people. Just don't come in to the US with Company A. that is it.
Hope this helps.
