H1B Transfer - petition pending

Hi All,

First I thank all of you for helping each other by providing valuable information regarding H1B. I am in situation where i am not sure whether my H1B transfer is feasible, Also read the sticky thread which explained H1B transfer under H1B extension but it didn't clear my doubt.

I entered US for a Company A, then I transfered my H1B to company B. I am currently working for company B but petition filled by company B is yet to be approved eventhough I got my receipt no. Now i got an offer from a company C I want to tranfer my H1 to Company C.

My approved petiton of Company A and I 94 is valid till 2009 . Under this circumstance is there any risk involved in h1B transfer to Company C without approved petition of company B?

A to C transfer is possible provided the latest paystub from employer A is fairly recent (entirely depends on the lawyer of employer C). Otherwise ask your current employer to expedite the A to B transfer.
