I was laid off at the end of March 06 and got an offer from another company B in the 1st week of April. I have already submitted my papers to the attorneys of the new company but they are taking sometime to file for the H1B transfer and they hope to file before the end of this month.
1) How recent do the pay stubs need to be (is March 31 recent enough) if the transfer is filed before this month end?
2) Will my current transfer process be affected if my ex employer plans to notify INS before I get the approval for the transfer through the regular process?
3) Is it better to go for premium processing at this stage?
Your help would be highly appreciated.
