H1B Transfer on OPT

Hi Guys,

I am working for Company A for the last one month under OPT which is valid till June 07. My H1B is approved and is going to start on Jan 07. Can I transfer my H1B to another firm right now or Do I have to wait till start date? I read different responses to this questions on the internet. I will apperciate your response.

hello..

me too having the same problem.. i am on OPT and got H1 approved by a company A ,,, i havent started working for them,, my start date is 15th jan,,,

now i have got a project from company B and working for them as a contractor,, can i get my H1b transfered to company B right now... or will i have to wait till 15th jan..

also since i am not working for comapny A,, how will i get pay stubs to get it transfered to company B ??

please help all the gurus sitting here ..
