H1B transfer issue

Hi,

I have a issue with H1B.

I am doing my Masters in US, and I will be graduating in May 09.
I am presently working with a firm A (CPT).

I got one more job offer from a firm B, a couple of months ago.
Firm B wanted me to join from May 09, after my graduation.
So, Firm B applied for a H1 in April 09.
Now, Firm B pulled back my job offer, after the H1B petition is filed.

I am still working with firm A as CPT, and firm A is willing to continue with my employment on OPT after I graduate.

If my H1B is approved, Can I transfer my H1B in October to firm A, without working for firm B. I wont be having any pay stubs to make a H1B transfer.
 
If firm B withdrew the employment offer, they ought to withdraw H-1B petition too.

You can try applying for H-1B through firm A after the H-1B is approved, but it is likely that only the petition is approved and not COS because you wouldn't be having any pay stubs from company B.
