Hi,
I am on my OPT (start date: June 01, 2005) now but have an offer from an academic institution and they are willing to sponsor my H1B visa. I know that this type of H1B doesnt come under any H1B caps but I have some questions regarding H1B transfer -
1) Does this kind of transfer different from normal company to company H1B transfer ? If so, how this works if I want to transfer it to a company before or after October 1st ?
2) Will I be in any kind of trouble later if I accept this offer ?
Please help me in this regard as I am unable to decide what to do and this is the only offer I have so far.
