H1B Transfer during GC Processing

Hi Experts,

I am working in University A and my GC Processing is in I-140 approved stage. Now I am planning to shift to Company B. They have agreed to process my H1B. Does applying for H1B in Company B affect the GC Processing of University A?

Please advise.
