My company has filed for my GC and is in the I140 stage. The 140 application ran into issues and is currently in appeals process. The result of which may take upto 12 months and the outcome is unpredictable. I am planning to switch to another company, they will be starting my GC afresh.
The H1B extension of 1 year I have is based on the fact that my 140 is in appeals offices and pending response. In this scenario can I transfer my H1B to another company, and how long will the extension be for ?
