Can someone clarify the question I have regarding my situation which is as below:
I have finished 6years of H1 on October 14, 2002. My extension was applied for the 7th year on October 10, 2002. My GC labor was filed on May 25, 2001 which is over 17 months now and is not yet processed. During this time can I transfer my H1 to another employer assuming that the new law AC21 will be signed by the president soon ? Or do I have to be with the same employer who has filed for extension for the 7th year as well my GC labor ?
I have a job opportunity which I am unable to decide because of this. Any help with an opinion/advise/suggestion will be highly appreciated.
