Just received info from my lawyer that my visa transfer petition was approved by CA in a day (filed under Premium option). Petition sent via Fedex: 08/14
Received by INS: 08/15 (email notification)
Approved: 08/16 (email notification)
Strongly recommend Premium Processing.
Also for those worried about paystubs:
I did not get laid off or quit before my transfer was done. However, FYI the last paystub I submitted with my petition was the one that was the latest one with respect to my offer letter. I received my offer letter and accepted it on July 26th and so the latest paystub I had then was July 15th (biweekly pay schedule). No RFE's or questions asked by INS.
