H1B transfer before it kicks off

Hi,
I work for a X company on L1A and got my H1B applied through Y company. I got my H1B and enabled in Oct 12. I am still continuing in my L1A and looking for good opportunity. During my search, lot of company offer for H1B transfer.
1. Will it be possible to do H1B transfer even before I started working on my new H1B?
2. What would be the consequence if I transfer and RFE comes?
3. What would be the future implication, even I get the transfer done?

Unless you actually work for company Y in H1b status, you cannot transfer to another company. The transfer petition will be denied.

If you have in fact got H-1B approved through Y company, then technically you should been working with Y company. I do not think you are on L1A status any more, I dont know if you can concurrently work on L1A ad H-1B. You can sure do on 2 H-1B's
