My friends H1B transfer was approved but her extension of stay was denied. She has to go to India and attend interview in Chennai consulate. She received notice on 13th with a date of July 5th.
1. How long she is allowed to stay in US?
2. Can she attend VISA interview in any other consulate as dates are not available in Chennai.
3. What are the possibilities that she gets problems there.
She does not have the last pay check with her previous employer. That is the reason for this issue.
