My employer was not willing to extend my H1 B which is getting expired in 1st week of Feb 2010, So i have applied for a transfer in Dec through a Consulting company. I got my LIN # on Dec 15th and got a project and i resigned my first job and joined the consulting position a week ago.
My H1B tranfer is in Intial Review status with USCIS vermont.
My I94 and Drivers license are getting expired very shortly and my consulting job requires me to travel. I have the following questions and need your suggestions
1. Will there be any problem in the domestic Airport during my travel. Can i travel within US with expired Driver's license.
2. Since my I 94 is also getting expired and if i do not get my H1b approval before my I94 expires will there be any problems created in the Airport for my travel as my I94, Visa and Driver's license have expired.
3. Is there a way for me to get a Temporary state ID or Temporary License.
Any inputs on how to handle a situation if anyone questions me in the Airport would be greatly apperciated.
