I just lost my industrial job on Dec. I am on H1b visa right now. I am still in the payroll practice of the company. Since it's very hard to find another permanent job in very short period time. I am thinking I may go back to school to do postdoctoral for sometime and try to get a new job at the same time. My question is, If I find a industrial job after 3 months postdoctoral research,do I need quota for my H1 transfer to my new industrial job. I heard from somebody you don't need quota for H1 transfer if you had the cap before in last six years. I really appreciate that if you can help me with this question.
