H1B transfer (4 times)

Hi,

I came to the US in April 2005 working for company A. In April 2006 I transferred my visa to company B. I did not like the work there hence transferred my visa to Company C in June 2006. Now again I want transfer my visa to company D.
Following is the gist:
1) Started working for Company A on April 2005.
2) Visa xfer Company A --> Company B in April 2006
3) Visa xfer Company B --> Company C in June 2006
4) Visa xfer Company C --> Company D (intending to do that)

Is it advisable to do the next transfer especially when my 3 years will end on Oct 2007. Will I have problems getting my visa extended?

I have not applied for GC and not left US since my first visa transfer.

---- How does 3 years end in Oct 2007 when you started working from April 2005?

I have not applied for GC and not left US since my first visa transfer.

---- If you have not applied for GC that is your personal matter

---- You can have as many trasnfers as you want. the total period of stay will be 6 years. After that no extension is possible unless you have started processing your GC 365 days before the end of 6 years period (in your case it should be April 2012, as per your post)

My visa was valid from Oct 2004 though I came to the US in April 2005. Hence my 3 years complete in Oct 2007. Also, my current I94 is valid till Oct 2007.
My concern was that when I goto US consulate for visa extn (for next 3 years) will they grill me more because I have transferred my visa frequently?

I also appreciate you suggestion for urgency of GC application. I am definitely going to apply for GC once I get a good, stable and well paying (that goes unsaid ) job.

BTW, my 6 years will end in Oct 2010 since my visa started in Oct 2004. Is it correct.
