H1B transer

I am completing my 6 years on H1B visa in another 7 months and now i have been laid off.

Will there be any problem from INS if i apply for H1 tranfer for remaining 7 months, as iam required in US for some personal emegencies.

you can apply h1 transfer as normal procedure. you dont have to include any statement indicating personal emergies.

as long as all papers like latest paystub etc are in good standing you would not have any problem.
