Gurus,
My first H1B approval notice says "valid from 09-13-2002 to 08-25-2005". I changed my job in 2004 and my second H1b approval notice says "valid from 07/06/2004 to 05/05/2007".

I am trying to change my job again and was wondering what should I put in my I-129 form? Generally the time is specified for 3 years on the I-129 form(as mentioned above), but I don't have 3 more years on the H1B if I count the years from the H1B start date of 09/13/2002. What are my options?

If I specify the time on I-129 petition as "07/01/2006 (start date) to 06/30/2009" is this going to be invalid because that my total H1 time will pass the 6 year mark on 09/13/2008? Or can I use "07/01/2006 (start date) to 09/12/2008", so that my total time on H1 from 09/13/2002 to 09/12/2008 will be exactly 6 years.

Which one should I use? Please help.

You have to file LCA for H1 before you fill I-129 petition.
6 years should be counted from your 1st time arrival date to US.
