H1B to TN Visa

I am indian citizen, Canadian permanent Resident living in Windsor Canada, working in Detroit(Commuting) on H1B Visa. My six years on H1B will be completed by March 2005. I will be getting Canadian Citizenship by December 2004.
can I continue to work on TN Visa for same employer after I become canadian Citizen after March 2005 ?

Any information/sugestion is appreciated.....

No

you need to be out of US for 1 year to be eligible for new H1. But if u choose to use TN status then I am not sure if u will be able to do it. But one thing for sure that if in future if u decide to come back on h1 u will still need to be out of US for one year for H1.

you just might not need a TN or any kind of visa as a canadian.

TN is a status, not a visa. Dependants of a TN get TD status, and cannot work.
