H1B to TN to L1B - Can I get a new H1B?

I am a Canadian IT technical consultant.
I live in Canada, own a house in Canada and have no intentions or desire to immigrate to the US.

I've had valid work permits in the US for the past 13 years. The longest stretch that I have been outside of the US during the 13 years is 9 months.

From 2000-2004, I had an H1B sponsored by a company that no longer exists.
In 2005, I was switched to a TN visa from the acquiring company.
In 2006, I was denied a TN renewal since I have a Master's Degree "equivalency" instead of the actual diploma.
From 2006-2009, I was granted an L1B.
From 2009-2012, I renewed the L1B.
In 2012, I was granted an extension/renewal of the L1B for "unused days" in my previous 6 years of L1B status.
My current L1B expires in mid-2014.

I currently have a job offer from a foreign company (headquartered overseas) that has a presence in the US. A lot of the work will be required to be performed in the US, but I will be paid in Canada.

Q. Can the new company petition for an H1B for me which will start the 6 year timer from the beginning?
Q. Are there any other Visa options that would be suitable (or more suitable)?
Q. Is there anything I can do with the unused 2 years from my original H1B (2005/2006)?
