I am working on an H1B with company X in the US for the past 2.5 years. I used to work with company Y (worked for 4.5 years with Y), a big multi national which has a lot of offices in the US. They have a job opening which fits my profile.
I want to know if they can sponsor an L1 visa based on my previous employment with the Indian Subsidiary.
Will it be possible later to sponsor a GC on the L1 visa?
I have stayed a total of 2.5 years in the US on my H1.
