I am currently on H1B and my PERM is not approved and I am on 6th year and my employer has dropped my PERM after labor market test failed. My last extension on H1b is valid till April 2026. I am planning to move to H4 and H4 EAD while continuing my work on H1B. I am so confused with all the mixed info. Can I continue working here at my company while my H4+ H4 EAD is applied together and in processing? What happens if USCIS approve only H4 and EAD is not approved? My H1B is stopped as soon as my H4 conversion is approved and will be left without any work permit to continue my work? What's the current processing times? Is there anyone in the same boat who moved from H1 TO H4+H4 EAD (first time) and got them approved at the same time?
