H1B to GC

My wife (USC) and I have applied for my green card. I am currently an H1B visa holder. Recently I got notice that my EAD card will be mailed to me no more than 30 days, since it is in the Card/Document production stage.

When we applied, my wife was unemployed(and remains unemployed). I am desperate to change jobs and wonder if complications might arise before I actually receive my GC. Seeing as on the forms I submitted, I listed my company and my current income. These things would change (for better or worse) if I change jobs

Any thoughts are welcome

Thanks

At the interview they might ask you whether you're still at that job, and if not, you guys might be asked to provide a new I-864, with the supporting documents of the new job. If it's a new job, you will have few paystubs to prove income, although an employer letter would probably go a long way.
