My spouse got her H1B visa in India and has not used it yet to come to the US. She recently got an F2 visa to travel to the US (Her H1 visa is not cancelled and she has not left her job in India). After entering the US on an F2 visa, can she change from F2 to H1 and simultaneously transfer her H1 petition to a new company if she gets a job offer, and start working?
