I have been on an H1B for past 2.5 years (it is expiring in March 2008).
I am applying for B-schools for session starting August 2008.
My I-140 was already applied for earlier this year (march 2007).
Since all priority dates became current, my AOS will be applied in the coming few weeks.
My question is:
-If my AOS is not approved until I have to join the school (1 year from now), what is my status ? Do I have to apply for an F1...? And does my AOS get canceled when I quit my job and join school ?
