I'm in desparate need of some advice..
Let me just list my situation so that it'll be easier to understand.
1. currently have a H1B visa which will expire in 6/16/2005 (the end of 6th year period, no more extension)
2. got accepted to a top school in east coast for a masters degress program and the school starts in 9/1/2005
3. need to change from H1B to F1 status but i'd prefer stay here in US until the school starts (because i'm afraid that i might get rejected for getting F1 visa since i had such a long history of living in US)
**Questions: Can I stay in US to file my change of status application? Is my status legal between 6/16/2005 to 9/1/2005?
