H1B to EAD Transition Formality

My H1B is going to expire in a couple of weeks.
I have my EAD.
Is there any paper work that needs to be done to convert my status from H1B to EAD.

Notify your employer.

Give them your EAD details. They should take care of it.

I was also told by my companies immigration person to go to office in person as they need to see the original EAD card which can be done within a month..
