H1B/ Till how long you can stay outside USA

Hi i converted F1 to H1b and got H1B visa stamped on jan.06,at delhi but due to some reasons i was unable to return to USA...Now i am planning to rreturn to USA, will there be any problem at the port of entry and/or what all documents should i take along...is there any time limit within whihc you should return to USA...

As long as your H1 stamping is valid you can return whenever you want.
 
have your employer send a letter confirming your continued employment on your return whenever that is.
